Hello and welcome to the first official Fifa knockout tournament hosted by the EUCGL.
Here you will find all the information necessary to make your experience within the new ‘Kick Off Cup’ as comfortable and straight forward as physically possible.
Schedule & Registration
Registration will go live upon announcement of tournament (18th July 2019), and we will aim to close registration at least a week before tournament start date (10th August 2019).
Players will need to register onto the website where they will also need to state the team used to compete with. Players must abide by all rules stated below, failure to do so will result in immediate removal from tournament.
Registration Opens – 18th July 2019
Registration Closes – 2nd August 2019
Cup Kick Off – 10th August / 6pm BST
Cup Closure – 11th August
Please Note – This current event shall be run as a 32 team single elimination knockout tournament, therefore it is currently under first come first serve terms. Although, if you do not get the chance to participate during the tournament, please keep a firm eye on the registration and bracket as we would like to keep emergency teams ready to take over in case of other drop outs & also for future events that we also have planned.
For this tournament, players must register their Playstation Network ID to their EUCGL ‘Profile’. All player ID’s must be 100% valid and accurate. Spelling, spaces and characters must be exact, but do not need to be case sensitive.
If your username is found to be incorrect or you have input a ‘Fake’ or unjust username instead of your Playstation Network ID then you will be disqualified as this is strictly NOT allowed.
How To Compete
You must first add the opposition player to your PSN friends list using there Playstation Network ID shown on the said fixture card. Once the opposition player has accepted the friends request you should then go to Online – Online friendlies – New friendly season – invite your opponent.
How To Win
The player with the most goals overall after both legs of the fixture will be awarded the win. Winners will move up in the elimination bracket until overall winner is decided upon the Final game of the cup.
Winners of the tournament overall will win themselves either the current finished season or this upcoming seasons favourite kit top of there choice.
If the game after both played legs end in a overall draw, both players shall continue playing the second game into extra time and penalties until the winner is decided.
All matches are to be played using the following settings:
Team Level – 4* & Above (This excludes Internationals, Adidas, World & All-Star XI)
Game Mode – Online Friendlies
Team Size – 1v1
Half Length – 6 Minutes
Controls – Any
Game Speed – Normal
Squad Type – Online
Players found altering the rule set (with proof) will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
